Auburn University Young Women Leaders Program

August 2014-present

The Young Women Leaders Program is a curriculum-based program that pairs young women from the local junior high school with women from Auburn University in a mentor-mentee style relationship. I began in the program as a big sister and loved it so much I could not stay away. As I continued on in the program I became an undergraduate facilitator where I now mentor a group of five big sisters and five little sisters. The program has taught me so much about leadership, patience and dedication. I am so honored to be able to work with such strong and amazing every week.
